THE one-off production 'WISH' brought a touch of magic to the county at the weekend.

After 10 months of rehearsing, performers took to the stage in Alloa Town Hall on Saturday.

They sang and danced their way through the night, treating the audience to a whole host of musical numbers.

People of all ages turned out to enjoy the show, full of energetic dance routines and enchanting songs.

Star of the night was Alloa-based producer, singer and choreographer Andrea Wilson, who masterminded the programme.

In putting it together, she was inspired by her love of fairytales, Broadway and old Hollywood.

She was supported by a talented technical team from JAS Productions and a dedicated cast of adults and children.

Andrea said: "I was really proud of the cast. It all came together really well, they worked really hard."

She wanted to thank everyone who helped make the show possible and the audience for the support on the night.

The production was jam-packed and offered a huge variety – from Lord of the Rings and Annie, to Oliver and Matilda.

Performer Craig Miller joined Andrea onstage and said the atmosphere at the weekend was "electric".

He said: "It went very well, it was well attended and well received.

"I think it was an enormous success – it brought music, drama and dance to the centre stage of Alloa Town Hall."
