CREWS. - Maureen, Susan and Barry thank all relatives, friends, neighbours, golf buddies and former colleagues for their condolences, sympathy cards, mass cards, flowers and for their attendance at the mass to celebrate Willie's life. He is now pain free and at peace. Thanks also goes to Canon Harty for this comforting service enhanced by the readers and the uplifting music from the choir and organist. The beautiful alter flowers were arranged by Catherine Ramage. We must also mention Doctors Sharpe and Murray from CCHC, the District Nurses, the Staff in Ward B31 and the Oncology Department at FVRH as well as the staff at the Beatson Oncology Department in Glasgow, especially Doctor McKay, for the effort they made to prolong Willie's quality of life. Our profound thanks go to Strathcarron Hospice where Willie spent his final weeks, the attention, the care, the compassion, the laughter and the love shown by each member of Staff were inspirational. The magnificent total of £1208.28 was raised and has been shared equally between Prostate Cancer UK and Strathcarron Hospice. Thank you all.
