Arrow Mum in tears after vandals trash son's grave

VANDALS have left a heartbroken mum devastated after trashing the grave of son in Alloa Cemetery. Linda McCartney’s life had already been shattered earlier this year by the tragic death of her 23-year-old son Robert Cleghorn. But she was left distraught when she returned from a holiday to hear Robert’s grave had been vandalised.

Arrow Community celebrates bridge opening

THE opening of Clackmannanshire Bridge was celebrated in style last Wednesday with a community party in Alloa Town Hall. School pupils joined senior citizens and other invited guests, raising a glass as council leader Janet Cadenhead announced that the bridge had been officially opened by Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond.
