Public flushes out drug dealers
A DESPERATE dealer tried to flush his stash of drugs down the toilet as police officers burst into his home during a series of morning raids. And tip-offs from the Clackmannanshire public – sickened by the damage and destruction caused to lives and property – led drugs unit officers to uncover a ‘shooting gallery’ for junkies in Alloa.

CLACKMANNANSHIRE Police are getting some help as they try to keep children safe in their Safer Summer campaign. The fire service, community and traffic wardens and the ambulance service are all helping get the word out to children and Wee County motorists to be extra careful on the roads during school holidays.

Clackmannanshire is a happy place to live
AN INCREASING number of people are happy living in the Wee County. The latest survey of Clacks 1000 shows that 91 per cent of residents think their local neighbourhood is a good place to live – that’s up from 86 per cent when the first survey was conducted in 2006.
