Two teenagers wade in to help with the clean-up.

BICYCLES, supermarket trolleys and wheel barrows were among the “treasures” found at the bottom of Delph pond at the weekend.

Clackmannanshire Biodiversity Partnership, Countryside Rangers, the Rotary Club of Alloa and Tullibody Community Organisations joined forces in a clean-up of the pond and surrounding woodland area.

Local residents, young and old, helped clear litter from the bank of the pond and uncover submerged debris using specialist equipment supplied by The Rotary Club and donated by Jamieson MacGregor Ltd, Alloa.

As the day progressed more local residents joined in the community spirit and assisted with the venture.
