DJ Judge Jules will be playing the Fubar in Stirling next month.

WORLD famous DJ Judge Jules will be spinning the decks at the Fubar nightclub this month, less than a year after playing a storming set in Tullibody.

And as a bonus, the night in Stirling on Friday, 28 March, will be broadcast to millions of listeners live on Radio One.

The set will be performed under the Hard Kandy label organised by Tullibody’s Clarke Millar, aka DJ Art Newman, and his wife Annmarie.

In July last year Judge Jules wowed hundreds of dance fans at Tullibody’s Working Men’s Club playing a special club night raising cash for Glasgow’s Yorkhill Hospital.

And after Clarke secured a monthly residency at the Fubar in Stirling earlier this year, there was little need to coax the superstar DJ back to the area to play for a second time.

Clarke said, “Judge Jules loved it last time. He normally plays just an hour but he stretched it to two hours 15 minutes. He told me he had an absolutely awesome time and the crowd were brilliant.”

As well as Jules, the night will feature a set by Clarke himself, alongside Martin Langer and DJ Peek.

“With Jules you’re going to get the most up-front electro and trance tracks and the quality of him playing live on Radio One,” Clarke went on. “I expect it will be a complete sellout and there will only be a limited number of tickets on the door. Last month when we had our first Hard Kandy night at the Fubar the queue was down the street passed Ozzy’s and Subways. It will be the same again this month.”

Playing in the Fubar in February was something of a nostalgia trip for the Tullibody father who hadn’t played at the city nightclub for more than 15 years.

He went, “I was 15 when I played my first set at the Fubar doing the old school nights – that was 18 years ago and its totally different now. It was like any club, I had to stamp my mark and let everyone know who I was.”

Now that Clarke’s Hard Kandy nights will be a monthly feature at the Fubar, he plans to attract further big names to the venue such as Brandon Block, Dave Pearce and Lisa Lashes.

The night will kick off at 10pm and Jules will be mixing it up from 1.30am.

Tickets are available from the Fubar, Ticket Web, Europa Musik in Stirling, the Pilot Outlet in Tillicoultry, the Tron Barbers in Tullibody and Rialto in Falkirk.

Thanks to Clarke and Annmarie the Advertiser has a pair of VIP tickets to give away. See this week's paper for details of how to enter.
