Denzil Wright (Moonface) and Les Pike (Minister) rehearse for AMP's latest production.

TICKETS are now on sale for the Alloa Musical Players’ production of the classic musical Anything Goes.

The Alloa Town Hall stage will be converted into an ocean liner for four nights next month as Clackmannanshire’s only adult music group performs the 1934 Cole Porter classic that made famous the songs ‘Anything Goes’, ‘You’re the Top’ and ‘I Get a Kick Out of You’.

Anything Goes, from the golden age of Hollywood musicals, is set on the S.S. American as it sails to London with an unusual collection of passengers on board that includes a gangster, a debutante and a nightclub singer.

The production will feature a live 12 piece orchestra and professional musical direction and choreography.

The show’s director, Audrey Crawford, is a professional choreographer and the musical director, Matt Edwards, is a top musician.

The musical will run from the 23 - 26 of April with shows starting at 7.30pm.

The opening night will have normal seating while the rest of the performances will feature cabaret style seating with round tables for 10 and a full bar.

Alloa Musical Players’ president, Joyce Stalker, said, “I hope people come down and support this local production.

“The show is full of tap dancing and will be performed by a very talented and dedicated group of people.”

Tickets range in price from £6 to £10, and can be purchased at Alloa Library every day leading up to the shows from 10.30am until 2.30pm, and group bookings are available.

For further information, call Joyce Stalker on 01259 214 962.
