YOU’RE never too old to try to make it in the world of modelling.
The Alloa & Hillfoots Advertiser has launched a fantastic ‘Make Me a Model’ competition – and it’s open to everyone from age 16 upwards.
Even if landing a contract with one of Scotland’s leading model agencies isn’t quite your thing, we’ve got £500 worth of prizes to make you look and feel like a star.
We’ve teamed up with The Model Team, based in Glasgow, to offer six-month contracts to one female winner and one male winner.
This will involve The Model Team providing the two winners with representation on its website for the six months, with the potential for this to be extended should they be successful or show real potential.
The Model Team, the first model agency in Scotland, has developed into an internationally recognised brand, with models working in Milan, Paris and Japan.
The agency currently manages the careers of over 200 models, many of whom have worked with industry giants such as Christian Dior, Glamour magazine, Marie Claire and Donna Karen.
The Model Team’s top talent spotters will pick their two winners from all the entries in our competition.
But that’s not your only chance to be a winner.
We’ve got further prizes worth over £500 to give away – and this time it will be Alloa & Hillfoots Advertiser readers who will decide the winners.
Again, there will be two winners – one male and one female – with the prizes going to whoever picks up the most votes.
Our male winner will receive a £150 voucher for Slaters in Stirling, and will feature in a photoshoot for the Alloa & Hillfoots Advertiser modelling clothing from this top menswear store.
He will also win a hair makeover and hair products, worth £50, from Morgans Hairdressing in Alloa, and a £50 voucher for beauty treatment at New U in Alloa. And top photographer Jan van der Merwe will photograph our winner and present him with a framed portrait.
Our female winner will receive a £150 clothing voucher for Debenhams in Stirling, and will also feature in a photoshoot for the Alloa & Hillfoots Advertiser modelling clothing from this leading store. She will also win a hair makeover, worth £50, from Morgans Hairdressing in Alloa, and a £50 voucher for beauty treatment at New U in Alloa. And top photographer Jan van der Merwe will photograph her and present her with a framed portrait.
To enter the competition, you must be aged 16 or over.
Fill in your details on the form printed on this page and send it together with a head and shoulders photograph and a full length photograph to Make Me a Model, Alloa & Hillfoots Advertiser, 39 Drysdale Street, Alloa FK10 1JA.
Alternatively, ‘Make Me a Model’ entries can be emailed to editorial@alloaadvertiser.co.uk.
Please ensure that the two photographs are included as attachments in either jpg or tiff format, and that you provide all the details as listed on the form below.
Please remember, all entries must be accompanied by TWO photographs – one head and shoulders picture and one full length picture.
Failure to provide all the details requested, or to submit the required photographs, will result in that entry being declared void and you will not be included in the competition.
