SINCE winning last year’s Advertiser cutest kids competition little Ciana Zhang has become used to life in front of a camera.

Ciana – who will be three in September – was voted by readers to be the county’s Cutest Child and since her victory she has been snapped up by a modelling agency on a three year contract.

Ciana’s mum, Sarah, said that when they were having a professional photograph taken of Ciana’s brother, Alan, the photographer suggested that Ciana’s photograph should be sent to a modelling agency.

Sarah added, “The photographer recognised Ciana from the Advertiser competition and even now when we are out everyone recognises her.

“She loves having her picture taken and always wants to see it straight away. Being in the competition was great and now Ciana really enjoys the modelling.”

Television

She has only just signed for Models Direct but the modelling work Ciana can expect to be doing will vary from clothing in catalogues to television appearances.

Meanwhile, children can be entered into this year’s competition at Tesco in Alloa, where the Tiny Tots photographer will be each day from Monday 19 May until Saturday 24 May.

Parents are invited to bring along their children – aged from birth to five years – between 10am and 4pm (lunch break 1-2pm) as we search for this year’s cutest kid.

Entry to the competition is free with each sitting, and a donation from every photograph purchased will be given to Alloa’s New Struan House School.

Once again there will be three separate age groups with sections from 0-18 months, 19-36 months, and 37 months to 5 years.

The competition is open to all children living within the Advertiser’s circulation area.

Prizes include £100 vouchers for Baby Central, ASDA’s children’s clothing department and Tesco.

In addition to the £100 worth of prizes, the winning entry will also receive a 20x16 framed photo of their winning entry.
