Wasps seek revenge on Spiders
By John Simpson
Alloa Athletic want revenge for cup defeat.
WHEN Alloa visited Hampden on Tuesday 7 August in the opening round of the CIS Cup, they fell by the odd goal in three to newly promoted Queen’s Park.
The Wasps will have the opportunity to take their revenge a week on Saturday at Recreation Park when Billy Stark’s boys visit for a Division 2 League meeting.
This Saturday the Wasps, like all other clubs, have no game due to the Scotland v. Lithuania Euro 2008 Goup B qualifying game.
So, Alloa boss Allan Maitland will be preparing to get back on track with a much needed victory over Billy Stark’s side.
