YOUNG Sauchie girl Stephanie Dougan is on top of the world after her outstanding weekend at the Central Scotland Highland Pony Club Show.
The 15-year-old, a fourth year pupil at Lornshill Academy, is a keen horsewoman with great hopes for the future, as she showed at this latest event at the Strathearn Eventing.
Stephanie started riding at 11 years, with her first lessons coming from Tom Carruthers, who has now established Devon River Riding School in Fishcross.
It was there her and her mum bought her first pony called Lightning.
Stephanie has since gone on to win many rosettes, with most of them being firsts, showing how much she has learned in her short time in the saddle.
At Strathearn she was kept busy all day riding the two highland ponies in a wide variety of classes, dressage and In-Hand showing.
With Suilver she won the Junior Ridden class and the Shield and Sash for Junior Ridden Champion.
Stephanie won the Young handler 13-16 years and was Reserve Champion Young Handler.
Not to be left out of the honours 19-year-old Rosie stormed round to win the Ridden Handy Pony class putting her experience as an RDA pony to good use.
Last but not least, Stephanie, dressed as a fairy, led Sophie Ardur as the Fairy Queen to third place in a hotly contested fancy dress class.
