Successful bike racer Andrew Tasker.

ANDREW Tasker (14) from Clackmannan, has just achieved his first ever first place at Knockhill Racing Circuit .

After a cracking day’s racing he was happy with his efforts, picking up the £100 prize money.

After qualifying fifth out of 20 Formula Aprilia RS125 race bikes and other classic machinery on the grid, Andrew finished third in race one and won the second race against some tough opposition from fellow Scots as well as English and the Irish racers.

Andrew is a fourth year pupil at Lornshill Academy, and to date in 2007 he is sitting in second place in three different categories in the Scottish mini-moto championships – the Junior C, Middleweight Production and Open Classes. There are three race meetings involving 36 races to complete the season.

This is Andrew’s first full year racing the bigger 125cc powered Aprilia RS125 two stoke machines.
