Alloa Athletic face a tough tie.

THE draw for the third round of the Scottish Cup has presented Alloa Athletic with an away tie against First Division side Livingston.

As Wasps fans will no doubt remember, their side knocked out Livi last season in a replay at Almondvale, winning 2-1 with goals by Ross Hamilton and Robert Sloan.

Alloa manager Allan Maitland told the Advertiser, “This will be a very interestng tie on 24 November which will bring back memories and give us the chance to pit our wits against a team from a higher division.

“I would have preferred a home tie but I hope we can be on good form that day.”
