CRAIGBANK Primary’s gymnastic team were jumping for joy after qualifying for the Scottish finals and the chance to defend their national title.
Sarah Taylor, Aisling Hurley, Megan Crews and Chloe Stenhouse won the Scottish Floor and Vault Championships earlier this year and the girls were delighted to qualify sckmannanshire Level 2 heats - for the fifth time in five years.
Morag Jamieson, P7 teacher at Craigbank, said, “The girls are quite excited about qualifying to defend their title. I think they are quietly confident.
“They did really well to win the Clackmannanshire heats.”
The Advertiser recently reported that Sunnyside and Park Primary Schools had been successful in Level 1 of the Clackmannanshire heats.
