Goalkeeper Ray Jellema has agreed a deal with the Wasps for next season.

ALLOA goalkeeper Raymond Jellema is delighted to have extended his contract with the Wasps for another season.

The Glasgow boy has been in excellent form since he joined up this season and is looking for many more at Recreation Park.

He told the Advertiser this week, “I am happy to have things sorted out for next season.”

Speaking about the drawn match with Queen’s Park on Saturday Ray (left) said, “There were spells in the match when both teams were on top but on a big park like Hampden to come home with a poiint was alright.”

But the big stopper also felt things could have been better. He said, “ I know we can play better than we did so we must do that on Saturday when we meet Ayr Unied.

“This is another game when we must pick up the points because they will want to keep alive their play-off hopes.”

Among the fans will be Ray’s dad (also Raymond) who lives in Ayr but on Saturday he will definitely be shouting for the Wasps – and his son!
