DOLLAR Golf Club Ladies played the rescheduled championship finals which saw Lesley Percy retain her title as Ladies Club Champion for a second year.
Her match on Saturday against Moragh Dunning, the ladies club president, proved a close contest in conditions generally wet underfoot, with frequent drizzle.
However, these conditions did not detract from some fine golf played in the best of spirits.
Moragh was first to spark, chipping in for a birdie at the par three 1st, but Lesley's steady game squared the match by the 7th.
Moragh countered with a birdie at the par four 8th and a spectacular chip in at the par three 9th saw her go two up at the turn.
On the long holes to follow, Lesley was quite awesome off the tee and it was all square again by the 12th.
Continuing her steady play, Lesley was able to take the lead and, two up after the 16th, she won the 17th to secure the match three up with one to play.
