Sign up for Life – It's easy to join Organ Donor Register

THERE are an impressive 13,497 people in Clackmannanshire who are on the UK Organ Donor Register.

But with around 90 per cent of the population saying they would like to donate their organs if something happened to them, that means there are still around 30,000 potential recruits in the Wee County for the life-saving register.

Since the Alloa & Hillfoots Advertiser launched its ‘Sign Up for Life’ campaign in January, we’ve been encouraging readers to consider signing up to the UK Organ Donor Register.

Now we’re making it even easier for you to sign up.

All you have to do is fill in your details on the form printed on this week's paper and send it off to The NHS Organ Donor Register, UK Transplant FREEPOST (SWB1474), Patchway, Bristol BS34 8ZZ.

Alternatively, you can register online by clicking on the link on the home page our website at www.alloaadvertiser.com, or by visiting the NHS Organ Donor Register website www.uktransplant.co.uk.

You can even register by phone – call 0845 60 60 400.
