THOSE unable to attend a recent event on the history of Clackmannan can rediscover it on film.
The Clackmannan Development Trust (CDT) has presented a Clackmannan Rediscovered DVD to the town library and local primary school.
The Clackmannan Rediscovered presentation was held in Clackmannan Town Hall on 26 April, and attracted over 100 attendees, who enjoyed a recount of the history of Clackmannan dating from 10,000 BC up to the mid-20th Century.
Lectures were delivered by a number of distinguished speakers in their own specialised fields and exhibitions from local and historical groups.
Robert Horne, event organiser and CDT chair, said, “I was very pleased to be able to present a DVD copy of Clackmannan Rediscovered – an Historical Account to Clackmannan Library for members to take out on loan if they wish, and also to Clackmannan Primary. This will allow others to enjoy what was a wonderful presentation and a really interesting journey through the ages.”
