AN ALLOA man last week admitted two counts of sexual assault.

Alan Wilson, aged 36, will now be monitored in the community for the next three years.

He approached two women in street and attempted to kiss them both, before following one back to her home address.

A not guilty plea to a charge of indecent exposure was accepted by prosecutors when Wilson appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court previously on August 4.

Reports were then called for and he was handed a community payback order on Thursday.

The first offence took place on November 11, 2014, when Wilson, of Dunveagan Court, approached a woman near to Alloa Train Station.

He then followed her to Argyll Street where he asked the woman a number of “personal questions,” the court heard.

Wilson then said he had to urinate and asked the woman to “look, as he was having trouble with his zip”.

Depute fiscal Iain Batho previously told the court: “The accused then asked for her number and attempted to kiss and cuddle her,” before she then walked off and called police.

Then on April 17, 2015, at Mar Place in Sauchie, he did sexually assault a 17-year-old after first approaching her in the street and asking her the time.

The depute fiscal said: “The accused then began to walk with her. “He continued to engage her in conversation and asked her personal questions.

“She became scared as she was unsure of his intentions.”

Later, while outside the Bridge chip shop in Sauchie, Wilson said to the teen that he needed to urinate and asked her to come with him.

She refused and shortly afterwards, he grabbed her by the hand and asked her: “Can I get a kiss before I go?”

The witness again declined but Wilson “took no notice of this” and pulled her towards him and kissed her on the lips.

Mr Batho added: “The witness thought she was going to become a victim of a very serious sexual crime.”

Wilson then followed her home and stood outside the property, before police were called. He was then detained in connection with the assault.

In sentencing, Sheriff David Mackie told him: “I agree with the recommendations in the report and will now make a community payback order with supervision for a period of three years and a programme requirement to attend the Moving Forward; Making Changes programme.”

He told Wilson he would be placed on the sex offenders register for three years.
