AN ALLOA man has been charged with stalking a woman after it was alleged he hid behind a shower curtain while she went to the toilet.
The 33-year-old appeared in court this week accused of “engaging in a course of conduct that caused fear and alarm” to an Alloa woman over the course of 1-15 October.  Contained within the stalking charge is elements of voyeurism and sexual assault.
It alleges that he loitered outside her place of work and her home; advise her that he had been watching her; and did walk in her presence when requested not to do so.
Furthermore, it is claimed he concealed himself behind a shower curtain whilst the alleged victim used the toilet, and also that touched her buttocks and attempted to touch her breasts.
The accused appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court on Monday when he pled not guilty. He was bailed under special conditions with a trial date set for February.
