A DRIVER who was clocked at 45mph in a 30 zone claimed he didn't see any speed limit signs.
Last Wednesday at Alloa's Justice of the Peace Court, Michal Schroeder pleaded guilty to speeding along the A908 near Craigview in Sauchie on June 22 last year.
The 33-year-old, who was representing himself, explained that he had recently exchanged his driving licence from another country. Although aware of speed limits, Schroeder mistook that particular stretch of road for a 60mph as he didn't see any signs and it was "just outside of town".
Justice Stuart Fair fined Schroeder, of Bowling Green Wynd in Blairhall, Dunfermline, £150 and endorsed his licence with three penalty points.
