A MAN failed to show up at court in fear of being intimidated.
On Thursday, Christopher Anderson was due to be sentenced for shouting, swearing, uttering offensive remarks and slamming doors at his home address on August 12 last year.
Defence agent Chris Macfarlane told Alloa Sheriff Court that his client, of Main Street in Coalsnaughton, had been cited to appear as a witness against someone else who was appearing in court that day on another charge.
Mr Macfarlane stated that Anderson had failed to show as he was worried about witness intimidation.
Sheriff David Mackie accepted the explanation and thereafter admonished the 22-year-old accused in his absence.
