A 17-YEAR-OLD Alloa boy has appeared in court after assaulting up to nine police officers in one evening.

The boy, who can’t be named for legal reasons, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court last week on the charges from November 14 and 15.

The youngster was also appearing on a charge of threatening to murder police officers in October.

On October 28, the 17-year-old, of East Castle Street, was at Ashley Terrace, Alloa when police detained him for shouting and swearing.

Between that address and Falkirk police station, the boy made threats.

Depute fiscal Ann Orr told the court: “He made threats such as ‘I’ll punch your c*** in’ and ‘I’ll murder all of you’.

“He then attempted to kick an officer.”

Then, over the course of November 14 and 15, the youngster was at Forth Valley Royal Hospital and behaved in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting, swearing and uttering threats.

He then proceeded to assault nine separate officers by spitting or attempting to spit on all nine officers and attempted to bite one. He then kicked or attempted to kick six and attempted to headbutt six as well.

The boy, who was appearing from custody, was said to be hating his time in custody according to his lawyer, Claire McCarron.

Sheriff David Mackie deferred sentence until February 22 for the original charge of threatening remarks in October.

He also deferred sentence for the November charges to obtain forensic psychological assessment and ordered him to be under curfew between the hours of 8pm and 5am in the meantime.

That case was deferred until December 28.
