AFTER selling out Alloa Town Hall last October, Liverpool band CAST will return to the venue once again this Friday, writes Barry Mills.

Alloa and Hillfoots Advertiser:

Having scored a number of hit singles in the 90s including ‘Fine Time’, ‘Guiding Star’ and ‘Live The Dream’ the Liverpool band are well-known for their live shows and will no doubt go down a storm once again with local revellers.

Support on the night comes from upcoming Castlemilk singer and songwriter Gerry Cinnamon. Gerry has been on fire this year, playing a blinder at T in the Park as well as selling-out Glasgow’s ABC earlier in this month.

Alloa and Hillfoots Advertiser:

Recently crowned Best Live Act at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards, Gerry Cinnamon is an artist on the up and the night provides a great opportunity to hear Gerry live before the venues become much bigger.

Gerry can’t wait for the upcoming support gigs, saying: “CAST are class! I'm well looking forward the two shows in Alloa and Inverness. The Live the Dream single was one of my only CDs when I was a kid.

“At the CAST shows I'll be battering out my songs then chilling watching one of my favourite bands from when I was a kid. I’ve had worse weekends to be honest. This is odds on to be well decent."

Coatbridge band Feet Of Clay also feature on the bill and are set to open the night.

Immortalised as one of the few Scottish Acts featured on the Barrowland path, Feet of Clay are an act not to be missed and will kick-start what is sure to be an epic night in the town hall.

Singer JP added: “Feet Of Clay are delighted to be supporting CAST and can’t wait to get the party started at Alloa Town Hall.”

With the band also being part of the growing Yellow Movement don’t be surprised to see a yellow T-shirt or two in the crowd.
