GOGOL Bordello is set to headline Eden Festival.

Other acts announced in the first wave include Alabama 3, Alice Russell, Dub Phizix & Strategy, Mala, Horsemeat Disco, Born on Road, Gavin Marwick's Journey Project, Talisk, Eva Lazarus and Asbo Disco.

Eden will be returning to the Raehill Meadows of Dumfries Scotland on June 8-11, hosting 12 different stages, including a drive-in cinema, kids arena, comedy, circus kills, and cabaret, as well as a feast of performers, artworks, workshops, horticulture, games and much, much more.

Gogol Bordello is an American gypsy punk band from the Lower East Side of Manhattan, inspired by gypsy music mixed with punk and dub and known for spectacular theatrical stage shows.

The legendary Alabama 3 will be bringing their blues sound and experimenting with acid house and techno. Alice Russell is a musical force to be reckoned with providing plenty of soul, with the late night party being supplied by Dub Phizix & Strategy known for their monstrous bass.

Co-director Adam Curtis said: “The buzz around this year's line-up is electric and we hope not to disappoint with our biggest line-up to date.”

Co-director Meredith Langley Vine added: "This year's line-up is our strongest line-up yet and we are very excited to be bringing such a legendary array of both current and classic acts to the festival.

"We have some very interesting and quite surprising acts to follow – we think you’re going to like it."

Eden Festival’s playlist includes hip hop, dance, RnB, acoustic, soul, funk, dubstep, disco, dancehall, electronica, ska, pop, African dance, jungle, balkan beat, drum & bass and Celtic music, playing together side by side.
