FOLLOWING a critically acclaimed run, Black Beauty canters onto stage at the Macrobert Arts Centre this Saturday.

Blending storytelling, music and puppetry, this vibrant re-telling offers fun and adventure for familiar fans and for those brand new to the tale.

Performed by Andy Manley (White, My House) and Andy Cannon (Labyrinth, Arthur), with design by Shona Reppe (White, Huff), Black Beauty was a huge hit with families of all ages during its Christmas run at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh.

Meanwhile, also at the Macrobert, there is the return to the mischievous polar bears on another wild expedition.

The Polar Bears Go Up arrives on Thursday, February 16, and this time they’ll be climbing trees, jumping on clouds and reaching for the stars as they race all the way up to space. Of course, they’ll be stopping for sandwiches along the way.
