Sir Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall attended the wedding celebration of their son James Jagger and his wife Anoushka Sharma on Saturday.

The bride looked radiant in her white gown adorned with lace, while her husband opted for a bright blue suit with a patterned shirt.

The Rolling Stones’s Sir Mick, 72, paired his green suit with a black and white patterned shirt, while Jerry chose a print dress, a light blue overcoat and a dark blue hat. The Oxfordshire party was attended by 200 guests at Cornwell Manor in Chipping Norton.

James, 30, is reported to have married Anoushka in a low-key ceremony in upstate New York last September.

The younger Jagger is said to prefer a private life, but the profile of the musician turned actor has risen considerably since he signed on for HBO drama Vinyl.

In the gritty series revolving around the sex, drugs and rock and roll of the music scene in the 1970s, James plays Kip Stevens, a rebellious British singer. Sir Mick and Martin Scorsese are the executive producers of the New York-set drama.

James and Anoushka’s wedding ceremony comes weeks after the wedding of his mother Jerry to media mogul Rupert Murdoch.

The 59-year-old and her husband, 85, celebrated their marriage in a private service at a Fleet Street church on March 5.

Scores of famous faces from the entertainment and media worlds attended the hour-long service, held just a day after the pair officially tied the knot at lavish Spencer House in London.

Around 100 guests attended the service and on the prestigious guest list was composer Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, playwright Sir Tom Stoppard and Sir Michael Caine.

Paul Dacre, Rebekah Brooks and Alan Yentob also attended, as did British artist Tracey Emin.

This is Jerry’s first official marriage. During the course of her 22-year relationship with Sir Mick, the couple were wed in Bali, but the 1990 ceremony was not legally binding.

It is the fourth marriage for Rupert, whose News UK company publishes The Times and The Sun newspapers.
