ALEXANDER Stewart, the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party candidate for the Clackmannanshire and Dunblane constituency in next year’s Scottish parliamentary elections, launched his campaign this weekend with a street stall in Dollar.
Mr Stewart said: “We received an excellent response to our first street stall of the campaign on Saturday.
“I spoke to a large number of people who were extremely pleased to see the Conservatives in the town. Many even stopped there cars so that they could come and talk to us.
“Scotland needs a real, Scottish alternative to our failing SNP government, and the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party intend to provide it. I shall be highlighting the many areas in which the Scottish National Party are failing ordinary, hard-working Scots and setting out how the Scottish Conservatives would govern differently.”
