Road surface improvement work is planned on the northbound M9 Junction 7 off slip road, leading to the M876 Kincardine (northbound).
The scheme requires a full closure of the off slip road from 8pm tonight (Friday 25 September) until 6am on Monday 28 September. A signed diversion will be in place.
Traffic travelling northbound on the M9 shall proceed onto the M876, continuing in a westerly direction and exit the motorway at Junction 2 off-slip.
Traffic shall then re-join the M876 in an easterly direction and continue onto the southbound M9. Traffic shall then leave the M9 at Junction 7 and proceed onto the M876 towards Kincardine.
This scheme has been planned in consultation with Police Scotland, Stirling Council and Falkirk Council.
Around 20,000 vehicles use this section of M9 Northbound each day with approximately 8,000 vehicles using this slip road to M876, and this investment, with a value of approximately £355,000 will ensure motorists experience greater journey time reliability, continued safety and comfort.
