People in Tullibody are objecting to a new takeaway.
An application to change a shop to a hot food takeaway on Firs Road has been submitted to Clackmannanshire Council.
So far three people have objected to the plans saying that there are not enough parking spaces in the area and customers would potentially park in residents’ driveways and leave no spaces for those who live there.
One resident said said that “Tullibody already has enough takeaway shops”, and all fear that the business would come with constant smell, litter and traffic which would change “what is a nice quiet street into chaos”.
Another resident commented that their house is directly across and said “not much chance to sell any property with a takeaway across the street”.
