THE nursery at St Serf’s Primary School has been repeatedly targeted by vandals over the last few weeks.

Police confirmed that sometime over the Easter weekend, persons unknown caused “significant damage” to some outdoor furniture.

The incident is believed to be one in a small series, following complaints of similar instances taking place at the school in recent weeks.

A spokesperson for Clackmannanshire Council said: “There have been several instances of vandalism over the past few weeks, which is obviously very disappointing.

“We are working to repair the damage where possible, and have contacted the police who are looking into these instances.”

Officers are investigating the possibility of a link between the reports and have appealed to the public for information.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police in Forth Valley are investigating following vandalism to a nursery in Tullibody.

“The incident happened sometime between 6pm on Thursday, March 24, and 8am on Tuesday, March 28.

“Some furniture and an outdoor stage area sustained significant damage and local officers are now conducting various lines of inquiry to identify those responsible.”

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately.”
