A SWAP meet event will take place in Clackmannan later this month.

It will provide a great opportunity for a wardrobe clear-out, to find new homes for preloved items that are no longer wanted.

Clothing – everything from party dresses to dinner suits, or new clothes that just don't sit well – can be taken along on Saturday, May 14.

'Swap Till You Drop' has been organised by Clackmannan Development Trust, with the main aim of showcasing a few charities.

Organisations will have stalls on the day, at Clackmannan Town Hall, so people can learn more about what they do.

To take part, head along with up to three adult and six children's items per person; these should be clean, ironed and on a hanger if possible.

These can then be swapped out for something new, with any left over items destined for charity.

There will be a stall selling things like jewellery and scarves to raise a little money for the trust, so any donations are welcomed.

Local cafe Bargain and Bites will also be on hand for those who fancy purchasing a refreshment or two.

The event takes place from 2-4pm and items to be swapped, or donations, can be handed in from 12.30pm.
