A VULNERABLE missing man has been found safe and sound in Clackmannanshire.
Police issued an appeal to trace Mark Haslam, 45 originally from Alloa, who went missing yesterday afternoon after leaving an Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, care home.
Concerns were growing for the man's welfare, as Coatbridge police officer Sergeant Greg Roberton explained at the time: “Mark requires to take medication regularly which we know he hasn't taken since this morning, hence the reason for the concern for his wellbeing.”
Police in Airdrie were conducting local enquiries, checking CCTV and speaking to family and friends in an effort to find the man.
Thankfully he was later traced safe and well around Alloa and Police Scotland thanked the public for their assistance.
