THERE were some bargains to be had at a market for once-loved children’s items last weekend.

Two Alloa mums, Sam Docherty and Joanne Clowry, put their heads together to organise Ben & Holly’s Extravaganza.

Held on Saturday at Hawkhill Community Centre, it provided people with the space to sell unwanted clothes and accessories.

Youngsters also had the opportunity to have fun, with a range of activities on offer throughout the day.

Jo said: “Sam and I would like say a massive thank you to all who attended the Ben & Holly’s Extravaganza.

“We had such a fun day with all the wonderful stall holders and chatting to customers, dancing with Olaf and singing with Elsa and Anna. “A few of our stall holders done really well too.

“It was quieter than we would have liked but hopefully our next event will be better and more people will come along.”

Party People decorated for the day - and donated around £1000 worth of party wear for the ladies to sell.

Stall holders will keep their profits from the day and any proceeds left over after overheads have been covered will go to Hawkhill Community Centre and Alva ASD Unit
