VANDALS have been causing damage and stealing property at a Clackmannanshire golf club.
The items damaged were recently purchased to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Alloa Golf Club.
Since the start of the new season on April 1, the Sauchie-based club has been targeted a number of times. As of Tuesday, more than 50 bunker rakes have been damaged with either the shaft or the head snapped off at a variety of holes and locations.
Four hole pins have also been stolen - they are seven foot tall and are painted black and white with a blue flag with the club's logo on it.
The top half of a pop-up irrigator at the 17th hole was also snapped off and the club contacted police following this incident. Altogether, the cost of the damage is more than £500.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
