THE Tesco Extra in Alloa is to move away from being a 24-hour store.
Changes are being made to the opening hours at the Clackmannanshire outlet, due to take effect from Monday, August 15.
The retailer has said that, where possible, colleagues impacted will be supported to find alternative roles instore or at other branches.
Tony Hoggett, Tesco UK chief operating officer, said: "We’re making some changes to the way a small number of our stores operate to help us run them more simply and deliver the best possible service to customers.
"Where there have been changes to a colleague’s role we will work with them to ensure they are fully supported."
Tesco at Auld Brig Road will now trade from 6am until midnight, to reflect changes to shopping habits.
