TRAIN strikes will continue tomorrow as planned.

As previously reported, trade union RMT is committed to a campaign of industrial action over driver-only safety fears, read about the dispute here.

Abellio-operated ScotRail says it managed to run 70 per cent of its normal services on the first day of strike action on Tuesday, but that will be no solace for commuters who wish to travel from Alloa – it is understood there will again be no services arriving to or leaving the Wee County.

Strikes are also scheduled for the whole weekend and every Sunday until July 17.

Trade union members are also urged to refuse working overtime on Friday as well as on next few Mondays and Saturdays up until July 23.
