Police in Forth Valley are appealing for information to trace a 70-year-old woman who was reported missing.

Flora Laird, who is known as Yvonne, was last seen around 2.40pm on Friday, July 15 in Larbert.

She was walking on Stirling Road and heading towards North Broomridge Roundabout.

Yvonne may have been intending to get a bus to Stirling, where she lives, and since travelled to London.

She is described as 5ft tall, of heavy build, with short white hair and had bruising/swelling across the bridge of her nose from a recent fall.

She was last seen wearing a 3/4 length grey/khaki jacket/cardigan, dark trousers with a floral pattern, and white trainers.

She was also in possession of a handbag and a large holdall type bag.

PC Rebecca Robertson of Stirling said: “We’re growing increasingly concerned for Yvonne’s welfare and are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace her.

“Anyone who may have seen Yvonne since this time, or have any information on her whereabouts, is urged to get in touch.”

UPDATE:

Police in Forth Valley can confirm that Yvonne Laird has been traced in London.

The 70-year-old was last seen around 2.40pm yesterday on Stirling Road in Larbert.

Officers would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance with the appeal.
