STEAM train enthusiasts in Clacks can catch sight of the famous Royal Scot as it arrives in the county this month.
The 90-year-old locomotive will tour east and central Scotland this weekend and next.
And though the public are invited to ride aboard the vintage carriage, the service begins and ends at Edinburgh Waverley.
Leaving at 11.44am, it will head north over the Forth Rail Bridge, through Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline, before heading east past the Longannet Power Station, Clackmannan and Alloa, on its way to Stirling.
From there it turns through Falkirk and Linlithgow before pulling into Waverley at 3.47pm.
ScotRail said they would be unable to release the details of the service's schedule, but, nevertheless, trainspotters will be able to witness the train steaming through the Wee County at some point on Saturday afternoon.
And for those who miss it, the Royal Scot will make its trip again on Saturday, August 20.
Built in Derby in 1927 for the LMS Railway, Royal Scot was recently restored and is one of only two locomotives of its class remaining.
Anyone wishing to book a spot on the service, should visit the ScotRail website for more information.
