A MAN suffered burns to his hands when a large barn went on fire between Alloa and Cambus last night.
The incident happened before 10pm last night, Sunday September 11, when an around 300sqm barn went on fire on Orchard Farm at the edge of Alloa.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson told the Advertiser that firefighters received several calls about the blaze just before 10pm.
Firefighters used two main jets and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire at the barn, which contained straw hay, and crews also assisted in the safe removal 20 cattle and high value machinery.
