PUPILS at Craigbank Primary School recently had a visit from the Scottish SPCA, who spoke to them about animal welfare.
Primary one to three pupils had a general introduction to animal welfare, including hedgehog safety.
Classes in primary four to seven had discussions about Animal 999, Pet Patrol and Wild About Animals.
All pupils were very enthusiastic and enjoyed the visit.
The Pupil Council has also organised a collection at school of towels, covers and newspapers to be used as bedding for the sick and injured animals at the SSPCA Wildlife Rescue Centre at Fishcross.
