THE RSPB led a tour of the Black Devon Wetlands today (Friday) to learn about the various wildlife living on the nature reserve.
As part of the Autumn Adventure walk, the group were able to investigate how the local ecosystem changes to cope with the colder weather.
Leaders Marcia Rae and David Anderson, of the RSPB Inner Forth Futurescapes Initiative, helped explore the relationship between predators and prey as well as the impact people can have on the area.
After compiling an interactive food web, the visitors took part in an un-nature walk – a small scavenger hunt which highlights the kind of damage humans have on reserves such as the Black Devon Wetlands.
Another event is being held on Monday and families and nature enthusiasts are invited along to take in the sights and sounds of the nature reserve.
The meeting point will be at the small car park on the junction of Bowhouse Road and Riverside View in Alloa at 10am.
