A RETIRED local journalist has released a short film on the Flying Scotsman's visit to the Forth Valley in May.
The four minute film captures the excitement when more than 2,000 people turned out to see the iconic locomotive at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway.
The locomotive was on show at Bo'ness Station as part of its trip around the east coast.
David Bytheway, of Coalsnaughton, who has produced a set of DVDs, The Driving Force which tells the history of railways in Clackmannanshire, said: "It was a joy to film such a magnificent locomotive."
