DOLLAR’S Deli was pretty in pink for a recent event in aid of Breast Cancer Care.
The big pink night took place on Friday, October 28. Around 50 ladies - and a few gentlemen - had a fun evening tasting everything pink: pink wine, pink fizz, pink gin, pink fish, pink cakes, pink jellies and pink canapes whilst listening to Pink of course.
On the night Dollar’s Deli donated a Mathusalem, a bottle designed to hold the equivalent of eight bottles of wine, for the charity raffle and 10 per cent of all pink sales throughout the whole weekend.
Dollar’s Deli owner, Joanna Taylor said: “It was a really fun night, but for a serious cause. We are delighted to support a charity close to many people’s hearts and are pleased to say we raised £818.
“A big thank you to everyone who came, who bought raffle tickets and to the suppliers who donated products.”
