GOOD fun and delicious food were on the menu when the the Tillicoultry and Crevecoeur le Grand Twinning Association taste tested some French delicacies.
Members and friends got together at Juniper Restaurant in Devonside to enjoy some fine dining and have a try of the restaurant's new French Menu on October 27.
This is another innovation from chef Kenny Wilson and French food will be a Thursday night feature at Juniper; partly in recognition and support of the twinning association.
Association chairperson Emer Kennedy said: “When Kenny told us about the Thursday night French menu it was obvious we were going to try it out and we were not disappointed.
“The food was excellent, French cuisine made from local Scottish ingredients, a bit like the association. The company was grand and the French wine complemented a great night out.
"Some of us are headed for Crevecoeur in December to meet up with our French friends and to enjoy the Christmas market. Nights like this can bridge the gaps between our visits. We will be back for more."
