THERE was fun and dancing at Dollar Bowling Club last Saturday night.
People from across Clacks headed to the local venue at the weekend to enjoy music from Alana Johnson.
Now in its second year, the Valentine's event, organised to include the wider community and help promote the club, was a great success.
Davie Dowell, member and bar convenor who helped organise it, said it was an "amazing night" and wanted to thank everybody who attended.
Around 63 people turned out from across the county, including Tillicoultry, Tullibody, Alloa and Dollar itself, along with members of Menstrie Bowling Club.
There was the opportunity to scoop prizes through the raffle, enjoy a buffet and take to the dancefloor.
On the night the lucky ladies were also given a red rose.
There will be more events at the bowling club in the coming months, including an open day on Saturday April, 15.
