A MAN who repeatedly banged on a wall has avoided punishment for keeping himself out of trouble.

On Thursday at Alloa Sheriff Court, Barry Brogan admitted acting in a threatening manner at his former home address in the town's Hillview Terrace on March 28 last year.

The 44-year-old, now of no fixed abode, caused fear and alarm by shouting, swearing and repeatedly banging on a wall there.

Sheriff David Mackie admonished Brogan for being of good behaviour since the incident.
