A 30-YEAR-OLD man has been accused of assault.
Last Wednesday at Alloa's Justice of the Peace Court, Roy Ferguson maintained his plea of not guilty to repeatedly punching another man on the head and body in the town's Broad Street on November 19 last year.
Defending, Mr McFarlane claimed that the accused and his partner have had difficulties with the complainer and is currently awaiting confirmation of this from the police.
Ferguson, of Broad Street in Alloa, has lodged a special defence of self-defence, and will stand trial on April 26.
