WEE County youngsters had a ball during the Flames Festival at Alloa Academy.

Around 91 children attended over the holiday period and learned about the Olympic and Paralympic values of friendship, respect, excellence, determination, inspiration, equality and courage.

Part of Clackmannanshire Council's Active Easter programme, they were kept busy taking part in activities such as athletics, golf, bowls, football, tennis, badminton and basketball.

The initiative, designed by the British Heart Foundation, was supported by several young sports leaders and Sports Development staff.

Children aged between five and 12-years-old also had the chance to take part in torch relays, along with opening and closing ceremonies.

At the end of the programme, on Thursday, they were also rewarded for all their hard work and efforts during a medal presentation.
