ACTIVE Stirling is looking to recruit four multi-sport coach modern apprentices.

The positions are central to the organisation's ongoing commitment to invest in developing young people for the future.

Active Stirling has been recruiting modern apprentices for a number of years, with a number staying on to continue their employment.

Mark Findlay, Active Stirling coaching manager, said: "The apprentices always bring a real enthusiasm and energy into our organisation; they are highly motivated and want to learn.

"Active Stirling is committed to giving young people opportunities in life and the modern apprentice programme is a great vehicle to do this."

One of the main requirements of the multi-sport coach modern apprentices is to inspire and motivate children and young people to participate in sport and physical activity, in the hope that they will continue with an active lifestyle in the future.

They will also be working towards industry recognised qualifications delivered by Sports Academy of Scotland.

The programme gives all the young people a fantastic vocational learning opportunity that will provide them with good foundations for future careers.
